National Anthems

In early 2014 I decided I didn’t have enough to distract me from my ever-expanding to-do list, so I started a Tumblr poetry blog called National Anthems Project with the following blurb:

“A series of handwritten sonnets composed to celebrate and eulogize stateless nations, unrecognized countries, and places that otherwise have a unique relationship with their people; penned on the flipside of oil-paintings of said places’ flags on postcard-sized boards.”

Following frustrations with Tumblr’s buggy UI, and other artistic priorities, this project was shelved. But the entries to date remain online.
